Wearcomp model formalizes human Machine interaction

In the context of human-machine collaboration, the WearComp model highlights possible information channels.

  1. Input: Both the human and the machine independently perceive the world.
  2. Output: Both the human and the machine can act independently in the world.
  3. Internal: The human controls and observes the machine.

However, the control/observe internal framing makes it difficult for the user to collaborate with an agent, rather than a tool.
